On search, the photos that are viral with false captions were found from METROJAYA department store, Sabah, Malaysia. The images show the leather shoes, bags, belts and wallets in the store were filled with white mushrooms. Everything caught fungus. The businesses in Malaysia reopen after over 50 days of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. Metrojaya on its Facebook account wrote” We take it very seriously in cleaning and disinfecting our stores to ensure a safe and healthy experience to our valued customers.
