Verification: Video game clip is shared as US drone strike that killed Quaseem Soleimani

The viral video clip claiming “Suleiman’s end”  is going viral as to be footage from a drone strike that killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. Its been shared on every social platform with false claims. In fact the the clip is not the real incident clip. It is from a video game titled ‘AC-130 Gunship Simulator: Special Ops Squadron’. .

The simulator video is shared by Byte Conveyor Studios in March 2015. Check the video shared below for the facts:

There is an increased tension between Middle East and Us, after killing of top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the elite Quds Force, in an American airstrike. Soleimani was known to be the second most powerful man after Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei. It is creating the spectre for another world war.

The same video game clip was also viral earlier in 2017 with the claim of ISIS killing its targets.

In the comments to this viral tweet, there was fact shared that the clip was from video game ‘AC-130 Gunship Simulator: Special Ops Squadron’. Check the tweet and comments:
