The news is shared by many people saying that it’s not real-time as the metadata of the video shows that the recording is done earlier than the incident and is fake shared by Arnab Goswami. People on Twitter claimed that the video was made at 8:17 PM- 22 Apr 2020.
In a conversation with BoomLive, Gaurav Pandhi clarified that the metadata was of the video published by Republic on Twitter. He claimed to have downloaded the Twitter video and then run it through the website.

The metadata created is from the time when the video was posted on twitter. The metadata is from the time published and not when the actual video was shot. YouTube or Twitter reflect the metadata of video when it is uploaded and not when it is shot. The people sharing the viral metadata to the video uploaded is not the actual metadata of the video but it’s from the time the video was uploaded on social media. Taking the same metadata into consideration the post started going viral to convey that the video shared by Arnab Goswami is fake as the time of the attack and the upload of the video is not matching according to people who immediately started researching about the incident shared on Republican.
