Imagine when malls open the fungus in the ducts will fly free in closed atmosphere of malls….. entering our respiratory system….. leading to major infections
Ernest request friends ….. don’t visit malls for months even after lockdown is lifted.
Our weather is hot and humid and it does favour a lot of fungi flourish. So be careful !

Check4Spam received the query for the images showing fungus on leather goods as shared from India. On search, the photos that are viral with false captions were found from METROJAYA department store, Sabah, Malaysia. The images show the leather shoes, bags, belts and wallets in the store were filled with white mushrooms. Everything caught fungus. The businesses in Malaysia reopen after over 50 days of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.  Metrojaya on its Facebook account wrote” We take it very seriously in cleaning and disinfecting our stores to ensure a safe and healthy experience to our valued customers. Metrojaya Suria Sabah is now undergoing a thorough cleaning process by our dedicated staff and will be ready to welcome customers in a few more days!” in the post sharing video of the store.
