The longer video was earlier posted on Facebook in 2014 by various people.
The same viral video and the news was shared on the Zee News channel on 8th Feb 2010 with the description ”
Protesting against the Punjab government in support of their demands, a teacher climbed atop a 100-foot high water tank here and tried to end her life by setting herself on fire. Kiranjeet (27), a resident of Faridkot district, suffered 90 percent burns. The incident took place near Punjab. Times of India also reported the incident that happened on 8th Feb 2010.
