The false message is shared on social media regarding COVID Vaccination time for girls. A post circulating on social media claims that women should not take COVID19 Vaccine 5 days before and after their menstrual cycle. The post started circulation following the government’s announcement, everyone in the country above the age of 18 can get vaccinated against COVID-19 from May 1st.
There is no such clause for girls to get vaccinated. Covid-19 vaccines do not affect menstrual cycles and fertility as per experts. Please get yourself registered on cowin.gov.in and get your COVID vaccinations after 1st May 2021. Check the links shared below to know the fact:
