जो लोग COVID-19 वैक्सीन नहीं लगवाएंगे, उनके घरों की बिजली काट दी जाएगी और राशन कार्ड ज़ब्त कर लिया जाएगा
Verification: The electricity connections of households were discontinued due to nonpayment of bills
The post is being shared with claims “जो लोग COVID-19 वैक्सीन नहीं लगवाएंगे, उनके घरों की बिजली काट दी जाएगी और राशन कार्ड ज़ब्त कर लिया जाएगा.” This is not true. Indian Government has not taken any such announcement. In fact, there are news articles shared saying that people in some areas are not taking COVID Vaccine in spite of efforts by authorities. The electricity connection has been discontinued to the houses that didn’t pay the bills. The news articles can be seen here.
