Verification: British Airways is not shutting down its operations due to COVID-19
No such information about shutting down of British Airways is shared on British Airways Website. British Airways does not show any notice or press release regarding the shutting down of operations in any of its media account. British Airways video about sharing its plans of restructuring of business through measures such as layoff and pay cuts, is being misunderstood and is shared with false claims.
The Youtube account “Unite The Union Yout ” that was created on 20 Oct 2018 with 787 subscribers as on today, shared the video. Check the video below:

The video posted on 20 June 2020 can be seen on the original Youtube account “Unite The Union” that was created on 02 May 2007 and has 2.61 K subscribers as on today. According to the video, the Airways is looking forward to welcoming customers back on board once the COVID-19 induced lockdowns are lifted. On its twitter account, British Airways shared about a change of date of travel or destination of bookings made latest by August 31 for travel by 30 April 2021. That simply means there are no plans of saying goodbye by British Airways. Check the links shared below:
