Verification: Mr Laxshmi Mittal Chairman of ArcelorMittal did not share any audio clip
An audio clip attributed to Lakshmi Mittal, CEO of the steel production company ArcelorMittal is shared on social media. India-born Mittal is Chairman of ArcelorMittal, World’s largest integrated steel and mining company. The audio content is against the idea of secular India and is hinted to one religion throughout the country. The audio was also viral last year.
In fact, the audio is not from Laxmi Mittal. Check the link below. ArcelorMittal clarified that on its twitter account in Sep 2019 that its not Laxmi Mittal voice:
An audio file is circulating online claiming to be remarks on Indian politics and religion by our Chairman and CEO. We do not know who the speaker is, but it is not Mr Lakshmi Mittal.
