Verification: This is not Congress Party Office in  Wayanad Kerela

An old image of the Indian Union Muslim League party office is passed off as a Congress party building in Wayanad.

The image of a green building shared with false claims is actually of the Indian Union Muslim League party office in Kanhangad, Kerala. The ladder and the man’s portrait on the building indicate that the building is associated with IUML. The ladder is a symbol allotted to the Indian Muslim League. The building has nothing to do with the Congress party. The green flag with a crescent and a moon is the flag of the IUML party. We can even spot ‘IQBAL NAGAR’ written on the electric poles in front of the building. The person seen on the left side of the image in the post is Syed Muhammedali Shihab.

The same building and name IQBAL NAGAR that is seen on the pillar in viral post can be seen in the post shared on Facebook on 23rd Feb 2019 with the description:
