An image of the man holding a placard has been edited and shared on social media. The original image has been on the internet since 2019. The original placard has text that supports the Citizenship Amendment Act. It is edited to mislead and is shown as text that criticises Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for charging more than the Union declared prices for fuel in Rajasthan. Check the image with a placard below that was here in the year 2019. It has nothing to do with a recent petrol price hike.
