The morphed poster regarding the medal won by Mirabai Chanu in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is shared with false claims “पीछे की फोटो देखिए और जो लिखा है एक बार पढ़िए, मेडल मीरा बाई चानू मेहनत कर के लाई है, या मोदी जी ने दिलाया है ?
वाह मोदी जी वाह” , ‘धन्यवाद मोदी जी’ मीराबाई चानू को मेडल दिलाने के लिए” on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. It is not true. The image is being edited and misleading text is added. Check the links below to know the facts:
Check the event video held on 26th July 2021. Union Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for Law, and Justice Kiren Rijiju were present at the event. The poster in the original video did not have any text like “धन्यवाद मोदी जी मीराबाई चानू को मेडल दिलाने के लिए.” In fact, that is added in the gap between the first and the second text digitally to mislead.
