“ISRO has said that the lander Vikram has now been located on the surface of the moon and scientists are now trying to establish contact with it. Scientists had lost contact with Lander Vikram around 2 minutes before soft landing on the lunar surface on Saturday morning. ISRO Chief K Sivan said that the orbiter has clicked a thermal image of lander but there is no communication yet. The Vikram lander has a life span of one lunar day or 14 earth days.”
