The fake video is shared with caption “राम जन्मभूमि स्थल पर खुदाई के दौरान मिला तांबे का पत्ता – 488 साल इंतजार की सही परिणति…जय श्री राम” ( In English “Copper-leaf found during excavation at Ram Janmabhoomi site – even after 488 years, the evidence is coming in our favour”) on social media. The same video was viral earlier also on social media.
The viral video was actually shared by an Instagram account with the handle name ‘Define Avcisi’ on 9 April. The page description says “About the findings and images are taken from social media.⛏⛏
? It is a page established for hobby purposes. YOU CAN CONTACT FOR ADVERTISEMENT..”( Translated on Google from Turkish to English) The manuscript is in the Hebrew language.
The account is of a hobbyist and posts pictures of several rare Artefacts, coins, among others. However, the excavation at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya started in May, a month after the original video was shared.
