Viral tweets on social media are created by an imposter account of Olympian gold medalist Neeraj Chopra favoring farmers and denying any credit of his win to PM Modi are also shared as screenshots on Facebook.
This fake account was earlier named Zara Sharif. Both the handles @neeraj_chopra_& @zara_sharif_ have the same Twitter ID 1339895042933104642. The online tool Twitbeavare can be used to know the information of the Twitter account. The user can change the Twitter handle but the Twitter ID of the user does not change. According to Twitbeavare fake account was created in 2020 and has just 2 tweets. While the real Neeraz Chopra Twitter account was created in 2017 and has a fairly large number of tweets by the athlete. Little awareness about online tools can help verifying forwards or social media shares.
