The post with an edited image of Narendra Modi is shared with a false caption on social media.
In fact, the image is edited, The file in Narendra Modi’s hand is a plain green colour file. There is nothing written on it. The image is being morphed and the text “जनसंख्या नियंत्रण क़ानून 2021” is added to it to mislead the public. The image can be seen in the article shared by Indian Express on 28th Dec 2020 with the caption “PM Modi asks people to buy Kashmiri saffron; know about its many health benefits.” The same image can be seen on Facebook account “I Support Narendra Modi.”
Narendra Modi shared the same image on his Instagram account on 26th Dec 2020. There is nothing written on the file:
