The shorter part of the funeral video of Saddam Hussein is shared with false claims that say “इराकी सदर ने 12 साल बाद सद्दाम हुसैन की कब्र मुनतकिल करने के लिए खोदी तो चेहरा उसी तरह तरोताजा ही है” on social media.
The man who ruled Iraq with an iron fist for a quarter of a century was hanged at dawn on December 30, 2006. Saddam Hussein was hanged in 2006 for the killing of 148 Shi’ite villagers. and his body was buried in AL- Awjah in the city of Tikrit Iraq. In 2014, his body moved from this tomb to an unknown location. Till date, there is no information about the final resting place of his body. The post shared says that the face of the dead body of Saddam Hussein is fresh even after 12 years.
The longer duration funeral video of Saddam Hussein can be seen below. It was published on 6th Jan 2007 with the caption “After execution, Saddam’s funeral and burial ceremony in Iraq.” The same clippings can be seen in the video as shown in a viral video shared with a false caption.

Same videos were also viral in 2018. Below links are shared in 2018 with the cation “Saddam Hussein Grave Opened, Saddam Hussain Grave Opened After 12 Years, Dead Body Saddam.” It says “This is a real video of Saddam Hussein grave which has been opened after twelve years for shifting the dead body to his old village. They dug Saddam Hussein’s grave to remove his body to his village and found his body as fresh as the day he died. Watch the video. Subhanallah..”
