Verification: BSF Soldier Virender Singh seen in the video is very well alive
The video of a BSF soldier who said ” जियो और जीने दो” and the photo of another soldier who was martyred while fighting terrorists on 28th Sep 2019 is shared with claims that the person saying “जियो और जीने दो” made the video on 15th Aug and now he is martyred. The claim is “जियो और जीने दो’ कमेंट कर रहे बीएसएफ जवान भारतीय सीमा पर शहीद हो गए हैं.” In fact, the person who is seen speaking is alive. His name is Virender Singh and he works with 54 BN WB. Virender sing clarified on his Facebook account and on his Youtube that he is very well alive. Check the links shared below to know the facts:
Rajendra Singh Bhati, a resident of Mohangarh village in Jaisalmer district, was in the 15 Rajput Regiment in Jammu and Kashmir in September 2019. He was martyred while fighting terrorists on 28 September 2019 in Ramban city. You can see this news here, here, and here. Northern Command Indian Army Tweeted about the martyred soldier. The video shared below is published on 16th August 2022. You can see the person who is claimed to be dead, is alive, and speaking to the YouTuber. The soldier is from BSF (Border Security Force) as per his uniform. The YouTuber says that the soldier is alive and requests not to spread the rumor.
