The statue of Sardar Patel is so tall that you can hardly see his face. If you did you will notice there is no resemblance to the real man.

This is a post circulating on social media with false claim. The picture on the right is the statue of Sardar Patel in 2008. Mr Pritish Nandy claims that the statue has no resemblance with Sardar Patel. Many others on facebook also posted it with false captions. The statue in the photo is installed at Gandhinagar in Gujarat in 2008. It was built by late sculptor Jasuben Shilpi.
