Verification: As of now PM Modi did not make any such announcement of lockdown to be extended till 4th May 2020
The image shared is not real. It has been morphed to mislead. The text on the image on India Toady telecast is replaced to make it look real though it’s fake. Fonts used and the background of the image shared are clear clues that the image is fake. The use of words like “increased ” is not appropriate. There is a mention on the image that PM announces to shut down everything till 4th May
PM Modi announced 21 days lockdown from 25th March in his address to the nation regarding the spread of COVID-19 in India.
