A screenshot is being circulated on social media with the claim that says in Hindi “अगर 2022 के चुनाव में उत्तरप्रदेश में योगी फिर से जीत गये तो मैं पत्रकारिता छोड़कर दिल्ली की बिल्लिमरान में चिकन पकौड़े की दुकान खोल लूंगा ।” ( Journalist Ajit Anjum stated that he would leave journalism if the BJP returns to power in Uttar Pradesh)
The screenshot circulated in the name of Ajit Anjum is fake. The journalist never tweeted about leaving journalism if BJP comes back to power in UP. He clarified it on his various social accounts.
On February 5, 2022, Ajit Anjum himself shared the screenshot of the alleged tweet and confirmed that he never posted such content.

He also posted the video on his Facebook account stating “बीजेपी की ट्रोल ब्रिगेड मेरे बारे में ऐसी अफवाह क्यों फैला रही है ? योगी और चुनाव के लिए जो बात मैंने कही नहीं , उसे मेरे मुंह में डालकर वायरल किया जा रहा है . करते रहो . मेरी सेहत पर फर्क नहीं पड़ता.”
