Verification: The flags seen in the viral video are of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML)
A video is viral on social media with claims “केरल में 1 घंटे कांग्रेस का प्रचार…. केवल पाकिस्तानी झंडे”.
The flags in the video are not Pakistani Flags. The flags are of, the Indian Union Muslim League. An old video is shared with false claims.
The video is from the year 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The rally is for Kerala candidate K. Murlidharan, a member of Congress from Vatkara. A post on Facebook dated 19th April 2019, can be seen where the same video is shared. The description of the video is “Kolarajan in Vadakara Muralidharan to jail too Will also go to Parliament…!! K Muralidharan’s Pracharanajatha Youth Sons of the League are being dismantled. #Vadakara #Muraleedaran #VoteFor #UDF”.
Pakistani flag has one white line along with Chand Sitara (Moon and Star), whereas the flags in the viral video do not have such a line. The flags in the viral video are of the Indian Union Muslim League. Check the difference between the flags shared below:
